Cued and contextual conditioning is mouse memory paradigm.
It is a fear conditioning task that measures the ability of the animal to learn and remember an association between an aversive experience and environmental cues. The parameter is freezing. This test is extensively used in behavioral phenotyping of transgenic and knockout mice as a second independent learning and memory task to complement the Morris water task.
